We are a successful independent Building Society founded in 1901 in the offices of a local solicitor. We have progressed considerably since then and we are now situated in modern purpose built headquarters in the heart of the West Midlands.

We concentrate on core business activities and have chosen not to diversify into areas in which we have little experience preferring to work with other professions in order to offer combined services of the highest standard. This policy, together with a long held philosophy of treating customers as individuals who deserve personal attention, is proving extremely popular. Keenly priced mortgage and savings products are provided through a sophisticated computer system that ensures speedy responses to customer needs.

As a mutual organisation we use our profits for the benefit of our members and customers whilst maintaining a strong capital base to ensure the security of their investments.
