If you are prepared to save at least £5,000 and limit the number of withdrawals you make each year, consider our Premier Access account.

Interest Rates – Premier Access (from 1 May 2009)

These rates include a 0.25% (fixed) introductory bonus for the first six months following the inception of the account.

Key features
Minimum investment amount The minimum opening balance is £5,000.
Maximum investment amount The maximum overall holding per investor is £500,000.
Operating balance The minimum operating balance is £5,000. Withdrawals taking the balance below £5,000 are only allowed on closure of the account.
Withdrawal restrictions A maximum of 3 withdrawals, by cheque only payable to you, are allowed each calendar year. Upon making your third withdrawal, no further withdrawals, including account closure, are allowed until the following calendar year. The minimum withdrawal amount is £500.
Interest payments The rate of interest is variable and is paid annually on 31 December.
Further investments Cheque only investments may be made at your convenience, the minimum investment amount is £500.
Account operation All transactions, including account opening, must be conducted through the post.
Joint accounts Joint accounts may be opened.
Right to cancel You have the right to cancel your investment within 14 days of your account being opened.
