Free standard valuation: We'll cover the cost of a standard valuation on a property valued up to £400,000. Properties valued over £400,000 will receive a contribution of £350 towards the cost.

Mortgage amounts

There is a minimum mortgage amount of £50,000.

This product offers a maximum mortgage amount of £400,000.

There is a minimum property value of £75,000 increasing to £250,000 for properties located within the M25 corridor.

The maximum loan to value of this product is 90% of the purchase price or valuation, whichever is lower.

Mortgage repayment terms

The minimum repayment term is 5 years and the maximum repayment term is 35 years.

Early Repayment Charges

Early Repayment Charges apply during the product term. Up to 10% of the original mortgage amount can be overpaid each year without charge, however, if the mortgage is redeemed or switched to another product during the product term, then the full amount of the Early Repayment Charge will apply.

The Early Repayment Charge will be calculated at:

  • 4% of the amount repaid until 30 November 2021;
  • 3% of the amount repaid until 30 November 2022;
  • 2% of the amount repaid until 30 November 2023; and
  • 1% of the amount repaid until 30 November 2024.

A mortgage of £220,500 payable over 34 years initially on a fixed rate to 30 November 2024, currently 3.55% and then our SVR, currently 4.94% for the remaining term would require an initial payment of £952.89 followed by 38 monthly payments of £931.38 and 369 monthly payments of £1,102.35.

The total amount payable would be £443,262.48 made up of the loan amount plus interest (£222,612.48), a telegraphic transfer fee of £25 and mortgage exit fees of £125.
