2 Year Fixed Rate Savings

What is the interest rate?

Interest is calculated daily and paid annually on 31 December and on maturity.

£1,000 plus - 1.5% gross / AER fixed until 28 February 2021

Can Tipton & Coseley Building Society change the interest rate?

As the account is a fixed rate, the interest rate on your account will not change before the maturity date.

What would the estimated balance be at the end of the term?

The balance at the end of the fixed rate term on a deposit of £1,000 with an interest rate of 1.5% gross/AER (fixed) would be £1,030.26.

This estimation is an illustration only and assumes:

  • the account is opened on 28 February 2019;
  • there are no additional deposits or withdrawals made;
  • interest is paid back into the account;
  • the interest rate is fixed; and
  • interest is paid gross on 31 December and again on maturity.
