Do you have the skills and experience to lead the development of our marketing campaigns, taking responsibility for the planning and execution of campaigns that will promote the Society’s products and services to extend our reach and increase brand awareness?  If so, this opportunity could be the role you’re looking for!

We’re looking for an outstanding individual who will develop and execute multi-channel campaigns that will drive lead generation and customer engagement ensuring compelling content is created for promotional material. 

In this role you will use your skills, knowledge and experience of campaign management to:

  • Develop, build and implement a campaign framework that supports the delivery of our corporate objectives.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to promote the Society’s brand, products and services, driving lead generation and customer engagement whilst ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and meeting internal governance requirements.
  • Develop, refine, and adapt the Society’s brand guidelines, and ensure brand consistency across all channels.
  • Collaborate with internal content creators to produce compelling content for promotional material, including email and social media campaigns.
  • Understand and keep up to date with the needs of the Society, B2C, and B2B.
  • Share subject matter expertise, to further the development and education of the Marketing team in campaign management.
  • Develop the use marketing automation tools to streamline and enhance campaign performance.
  • Manage workflow and resources effectively to deliver campaigns on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and brand strategies.
  • Work closely with sales and product teams to align marketing campaign strategies with business objectives.
  • Manage campaign budgets, ensuring efficient allocation to maximise ROI.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities and competitor activity.
  • Assist with marketing projects.
  • Consistently demonstrate Society values and expected behaviours, setting a good example to colleagues, working collaboratively with colleagues across the business, and challenging inappropriate behaviour.
  • Keep up to date with the regulatory requirements relating to marketing financial services products.

To be considered you will need to demonstrate:

  • At least 3 years’ experience of successfully designing and delivering marketing campaigns to drive demand, preferably gained within a financial or professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, channels, and automation platforms.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and copywriting skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience of using relevant tools and dashboards for campaign evaluation.
  • Proven success in developing and executing impactful marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with confidence.
  • Strategic mindset combined with hands on execution and project management skills.
  • Ability to monitor and analyse performance and data effectively.
  • Experience of generating B2B and B2C campaigns.
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices.
  • The ability to provide excellent customer service and to embrace the principles of Treating Customers Fairly, Consumer Outcomes and the Society’s values.
  • Excellent administrative and PC skills covering Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Experience of working in a highly regulated industry.

Qualifications required:

  • Degree qualification, or equivalent, in a relevant subject area, such as Marketing or Communications.
  • 5 GCSE’s grade 9 to 4 / A* to C, or equivalent.

Salary: £40,000-£48,000 p.a. dependent on experience, skills and qualifications
Location:   Tipton, West Midlands
Hours:  35 per week

The Society is able to offer hybrid working, following successful completion of an initial probationary period, you would be able to work 2 to 3 days at home each week.
