Senior Product & Sales Operations Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join our Commercial team as a Senior Product & Sales Operations Administrator.

A proven track record operating in a customer service environment as well as experience of operating within a financial services and products environment is desirable for this role.

As a key member of the team, you will support the Head of Product & Sales Operations in the management of the Society’s savings and mortgage product proposition. Responsible for approval of product related financial promotions and external display and the development and ownership of product analytics and reporting.

Salary: £26,000 to £30,000 per annum (dependent upon qualifications, skills and experience).

Location: Head office based in Tipton. The Society is able to offer hybrid working, following successful completion of an initial probationary period, you would be able to work 2 to 3 days at home each week.

Hours: 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5 pm

In this role you will:

  • Have strong attention to detail to check and approve all product collateral, including but not limited to, product sign of sheets, product literature, website pages, external communications. Approval of all Product Administrator work.
  • Manage the external distribution and management of the Society’s lending criteria.
  • Manage the product tranche development and management.
  • Have ownership of the Society’s internal product systems, including upload and approval of products on the system.
  • Manage ongoing product market analysis, proactively recommending areas for improvement in the Society’s products.
  • Have ownership of speed to market, targeting a speed to market within 72 hours of recommendation to live.
  • Create and approve product and criteria related financial promotions. 
  • Support the development and training of the wider team.
  • Ensure compliance with regulation and internal processes.
  • Observe and recommend opportunities to enhance the Society’s offering.
  • Provide sourcing companies with timely updates to changes of the Society’s products, ensuring products are reflected accurately.
  • Prepare for meetings, including preparing and issuing minutes or reports.
  • Create, check, approve and send monthly regulatory mailings.
  • Complete product research to remain competitive and support new entries to market. 
  • Manage the development process of products.
  • Have efficient management of product set up processes. 
  • Complete ad-hoc projects and tasks as required by the Head of Product & Sales Operations, or any member of the Executive team.
  • Complete general administrative duties, including answering the telephone, photocopying, scanning and printing.

  • Excellent administrative skills, and PC skills, covering Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and to embrace the Society’s GREAT values. 
  • Ability to follow, and work to, procedures and instructions to produce accurate and thorough work.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the team effort and objectives.
  • Excellent time keeping and attendance.
  • Ability to adopt flexible working patterns, to ensure all Society deadlines are met, and to meet any out of hours requirements e.g. to attend sponsorship/marketing events.
  • Organisation and workload management/prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to lead by example to create a positive and supportive working environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A degree or relevant professional qualification would be an advantage for this role.
  • 2 x A Levels at grades A to C (or equivalent) are essential for this role. 
  • A minimum of 5 GCSE grades 9 to 4 / A* to C (or equivalent) including Maths and English are essential for this role. 
  • Experience of working in a busy environment.
  • Experience of working in the Financial Services market.
  • Experience of savings and mortgage products.
