We’re committed to giving back to our local communities
Throughout the year, we commit to supporting a number of local community groups. Donations are made to support with their fundraising and day to day operations.
Codsall Christmas Fair 2025
We were proud sponsors of Codsall Christmas Fair in 2025, one of the largest Christmas events in South Staffordshire, with live entertainment, food, drink and fun for all. We also held a stall outside our new Codsall branch, spreading joy to locals with our range of mini games and raffles. Our team of colleagues raised over £250 for our charity of the year, White House Cancer Support, whilst bringing festive fun to the local community.

Spreading joy at Christmas time is important, especially to those spending it in hospital. That's why we joined Russell's Hall Selection Box campaign to donate over 350 selection boxes to patients at the hospital in 2024. We have continued this support in 2025, donating a further 150 boxes to patients.

We proudly donated a range of baby items to Brierley Hill Babybank, alongside a cheque donation. The Babybank's objective and core focus is the prevention and relief of poverty in Brierley Hill and the surrounding areas by providing essential items, resources and support to families with young children.

In August 2024 and 2025, we donated funds to Tipton based, Bloomfield Court Care Home who provide essential day-to-day care and support to its residents to stay active and feel part of the local community. The Society also donated raffle prizes to its summer fayre, including gift vouchers and food hampers.

Each year, we make a donation to Sedgley Gardening Club to support with the costs of setting up their show. This year, we attended their annual gardening show, to show our support.

For many years, we have been delighted to be the main sponsors of Tipton Canal and Community Festival! The festival is a great way of bringing the local community together, and we're pleased to donate towards the set up and running of the festival.

During 2024, we were pleased to support local school Beacon Hill Academy by donating £700 towards a therapy dog and accessible garden for their students. The donation will support their student's well-being and social and emotional needs.
