Colleagues put the fun into fundraising
It’s been a busy month of fundraising at the Tipton, with not one, but two events in support of our nominated charity.

Colleagues arranged a fashion show and clothing sale at Tipton Sports Academy Social Club, attended by nearly 100 guests.
Proceeds from ticket sales, a raffle and football card competition all went to White House Cancer Support in Dudley, who the Society have partnered with for 2025.
Then just a few weeks later, we swapped the catwalk for the car park to stage a charity car wash.
A group of volunteers spent the day cleaning, polishing and buffing their colleagues’ vehicles in exchange for donations to the White House.
When combined, the activities raised just over £1,100, money which will help fund vital services for those in our community who are living with cancer.
The Tipton select a local charity partner each year and colleagues are encouraged to fundraise in a variety of ways.
We also offer our time as volunteers. Teams from the Tipton have maintained the charity’s communal gardens and outdoor spaces throughout the summer, provided laptops and IT training and helped run a number of social events for service users.
Kelly Macchiarelli, Support and Information Officer at White House Cancer Support, said: “We’re so pleased to be the Tipton’s charity of the year and the contributions so far have surpassed anything we could have imagined.
“They are full of creative ideas for raising money and gaining support from colleagues and customers alike.
“We were able to come to the fashion show ourselves and see first hand what an enjoyable and successful evening it was, resulting in lots of donations that we’ll put to good use.”
