The generosity of our staff has benefited a local food bank this festive season.

Throughout December, we took part in the reverse advent initiative. The reverse advent is a simple concept that encourages people to give, not receive, as they countdown to Christmas. During December, we put aside a donation during each day during advent to benefit local people who use the Black Country Food Bank.

Becky Poole, Marketing Assistant, said: "Reverse advent calendars are a great example of how local people can ensure no one goes hungry over the festive period and we were only too pleased to help the Black Country Food Bank."

A representative commenting on behalf of the team at Black Country Food Bank, added: "We are so grateful for the generosity of local people. Without donations like this we couldn’t help those in crisis in our community, especially over the festive period when families in particular really struggle."
