The Society raise over £6,000 for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity

We have proudly raised over £6,000 for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity during 2021, and over £26,500 in total since we began supporting it in 2018.

Throughout the year, and despite Covid restrictions, our staff at the Tipton have pulled out all the stops to raise much needed funds for the Charity which solely relies on support from local donors and businesses for its 3,000 missions each year.

Funds were raised by our Society’s staff through various activities including mufti days, raffles, an English wine week campaign, a Euros sweepstake, and customer donations.

Richard Newton, our Chief Executive said: "Once again our staff have given up their own time to raise much needed funds for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity who do such a fantastic job helping people in need but without any government support or funding, so we hope this donation will help make a difference.”
