The Tipton’s 2024 Colleague Charities of the Year!

Helping the community and ensuring they make a difference within the Black Country, lies at the very heart of what we do as a mutual.
Society colleagues nominated local charities to support during 2024. With numerous nominations received, and all of them doing incredible work, it left a tough decision to be made.
As a result, the Society are delighted to announce we are supporting four charities throughout this year:
- Acorns Children’s Hospice;
- Balls to Cancer;
- Heartlands Hospital Neonatal Unit; and
- Midland Langar Seva Society.
During 2024 the Society is hosting various colleague directed fundraising activities, with the aim being to increase donations, alongside raising awareness and recognition for the charities.
To round up our efforts, each charity will be presented with a cheque for the funds raised at the end of the year.
Adam Evetts, Chief Executive Officer at The Tipton & Coseley Building Society said: “Supporting and making a positive contribution to the Black Country and surrounding area is very important to us. Giving back to the local community is simply a part of who we are, and I’m really excited to see what we can achieve”.
