The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity recently recognised a number of local heroes at its Recognition Awards and Charity Ball held at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham.

At the event held on Friday 22nd September, the Society was recognised for its charity work for the Midlands Air Ambulance by winning the Corporate Partnership Award.  This award recognises the Tipton and our employees who have demonstrated hard work, initiative and commitment through our CSR policy to raise awareness and through vital donations for the charity.

The Recognition Awards and Charity Ball celebrates the service’s lifesaving aircrew, dedicated fundraisers, supporters, corporate partners, and volunteers. As well as recognising individuals and organisations that have made a significant difference to the charity over the past 12 months, the evening also raised an £74,000 for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s rapid response emergency service. This amount will help make 49 lifesaving missions possible – 23 via air ambulance and 26 in the organisation’s fleet of critical care cars.

Emma Gibbons, our Senior Marketing & Product Administrator at the Tipton said: ‘We are delighted to be recognised by the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and to receive this award. The air ambulance crew and staff at Midlands Air Ambulance do such as fantastic job helping people in need, without any government support or funding.’
