We’ll occupy a unit on The Square, a centrally located parade of shops. Refurbishment work is already underway and our branch is expected to be operational towards the end of the year.

Opening in Codsall is creating four new jobs, including two full time customer service advisors, one part time customer service advisor and a branch leader.

Codsall becomes the Society’s fifth branch, joining Owen Street in Tipton, which is also our headquarters, Coseley, Bilston and Sedgley.

The Tipton’s Chief Executive Adam Evetts said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be bringing our full range of savings and mortgage products to the people of Codsall, coupled with traditional, over the counter service from colleagues who understand and care about their customers’ needs.

“While we live in a digital age, there is still demand for access to financial services on the high street. All too often we hear about the frustration and difficulties it causes when institutions close branches, thereby leaving customers wholly reliant on telephone and online banking.

“These channels work for some, but not everyone. Like many of our building society peers, we’re proud to be bucking that trend and investing in physical premises where we can see they’re needed.

“Expanding into Codsall sends out a confident message about the Tipton’s strength and ambition. We’re providing a vital service for the local community and giving people choice over how they manage their money.”

Codsall branch has approximately 550 sq ft of space. It will feature a customer counter with three service points, two rooms for private consultations, digital information screens and comfortable lounge seating.

We look forward to welcoming customers to Codsall and will update our website with details of opening hours soon.
