As many UK charities continue to face challenges during the cost of living crisis, the Tipton and Coseley Building Society, are delighted to announce further donations to local Midlands charities through their Charitable Foundation.

Twice a year a panel, made up of Tipton employees and members of the community, come together to allocate funds to local charities to help raise educational standards, increase health provision and support the hospice movement. To find out more about the Tipton’s Charitable Foundation visit www.thetipton.co.uk.

The latest donations made by the Tipton’s Charitable Foundation in April 2023 include: Murray Hall Community Trust, Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund, Better Understanding of Dementia for Sandwell (BUDS) and St John Ambulance. These recent donations will help go towards the cost of defibrillators, providing respite breaks to families whose children are receiving cancer treatment through proactive counselling and art therapy assistance, a trip to the seaside for patients living with dementia with their main family carer, and a new community support unit vehicle enabling local volunteers across the county to travel to local events responding to first aid requests in greater comfort and ease.

Emma Gibbons, Senior Marketing and Product Administrator at the Tipton said: "Supporting local charities in our community lies at the very heart of the Tipton and Coseley Building Society. So we hope our latest donations to these wonderful charities will go a long way to help them continue the fantastic job they do.’
