Will the Base Rate change affect my mortgage?

If you have a fixed rate mortgage you will not be affected by our Standard Variable Rate change as your mortgage interest rate is fixed for a set period of time.

If you have a discounted variable rate this is discounted from our Standard Variable Rate and the change could affect your monthly repayment.

If you have received a mortgage offer from us we will be in touch with you about the rate change and any change to your proposed monthly repayment.

If you are paying by Direct Debit you do not need to do anything as your repayment will change automatically.

If you are paying by standing order you will need to contact your bank or building society to amend your repayment amount. Your new monthly repayment will be included in the letter sent to you detailing your interest rate change.

If you have an agreement with us to pay an amount different to your contractual monthly repayment please continue to pay this unless our Collections department advise you otherwise.
