The Tipton's Charitable Foundation
The Society's Charitable Foundation was launched in 1999, and aims to donate £10,000 each year to health and educational charities based around the West Midlands.
Twice a year, our Charitable Foundation panel come together to consider applications and allocate funds. The panel is made up of Society employees and members of the local community. Since the launch of the Foundation, it has made donations totalling over £150,000.
Applications are available to local registered charities who have a focus on supporting the health and education of the local community.

The Tipton's Charity Committee
Each year, the Society's employees get together to fundraise for a chosen charity. Recent charities have included; Birmingham Children's Hospital, Alzheimer's Society and Wolverhampton based Promise Dreams.
During 2019, the Society raised funds for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, who operate and fund three air ambulances covering six Midlands counties. Midlands Air Ambulance Charity receive no Government funding, and operates solely on donations and sponsorship.
Society staff, family and customers raised an impressive £9,578.89 during 2019, through a range of activities.
Local Sponsorship and Donations
As a Building Society, the Society is committed to giving back to the local community. Throughout the year donations are made to local schools, churches and organisations to support their fundraising and operation.
The Society are also proud sponsors of Tipton Town FC and Tipton Harriers.
During 2020, the Society supported a number of causes, including (but not limited to):
- Tipton Tree of Light;
- Coseley Cricket Club;
- Dudley Council's NHS memorial; and
- Sedgley and Gornal Utd FC;
