Staff rise to the fundraising challenge
We have put our culinary know-how to the test, anonymously battling it out to be crowned ‘Tipton Bake Off Best Baker’. Staff were invited to bring their homemade food into work and colleagues paid for a slice and voted for their favourite. Mark Schofield, Branches and Training Manager, has been crowned master baker, wowing us with his jerk chicken and red onion pizza.
Lee Allen, service manage for Alzheimer's Society said: "We’re ever so grateful for Tipton and Coseley Building Society’s bake-sale that raised funds for us. This money will contribute towards valuable services such as our National Dementia Helpline that helps thousands of people across the country every year.”
Lee Judson, General Manager Sales and Marketing, added: “We launched the Great Tipton Bake Off contest four years ago and it has already become a key date in our fundraising calendar. We're really pleased that our staff dug deep to raise money for Alzheimer's Society."
